Ah, the comment about Kirby being a girl made me laugh.

The background looks tacky, but the rest of it is nice. If your backgrounds don't look like you tried on them, it takes away from the rest of the picture.

I know you don't think you are very good at them, but put effort into it. You might be pleased by the outcome.
